Powertasking™ can be defined as "doing one task at a time, perfectly."

When you Powertask:

  1. You properly engage each task, one at a time, and then properly de-engage each task when you switch off.

  2. You do not have to deal with the noise of TUI (or tasking-under-the-influence of another task). That's because you've properly de-engaged from the previous task.

  3. You've prioritized your tasks in advance, so you always know which one you need to do next. Therefore, and by definition, you're always working on the right task and at the right time, eliminating errors in judgment and time wasted deciding.

In short, you are a highly effective tasking machine! You might say, no one can be perfect, no one can prioritize all tasks that come their way or even know all the tasks to prioritize. This is true, Powertasking is a goal, a tendency, a journey. But I promise, by striving to Powertask you will be a much better tasker and life will get so much easier.

That's the real promise of Powertasking - knowing your limitations and excelling because of it.
